The latest Hyundai Sonata is really a stepped up from previous models, especially the Hybrid trim. Being electrified, the hybrid Sonata is also technologically superior to most cars in the market.
While most cars are still struggling to pair with a smartphone, the Sonata is a step ahead as it can also communicate with smartwatches, particularly the Apple Watch.
Hyundai has developed the Blue Link Apple Watch app and this allows the smartwatch to pair itself with the Sonata Hybrid’s infotainment system. With the app, drivers can see the state of charge and also be guided to the car in a crowded parking lot.
It might not be much but it is certainly a step forward in the automotive world. With more cars being registered on the road today, finding your car in a parking lot can take forever. This won’t be the case with the Apple Watch and the Sonata Hybrid.
