Honda To Create New Benchmark In Efficiency With Jazz Facelift?

Over in Japan, Toyota has the bragging rights for producing the most fuel efficient car ever. Known as the Toyota Aqua, the hatchback returns an impressive fuel consumption rate of 37km/l.

Now, Honda is looking to beat this feat by commencing development of the Jazz Facelift. An industry insider from Honda shared with us that the Jazz Hybrid, also known as the Fit Hybrid, is going to return about 40km/l.

If Honda is to accomplish this, then the future Jazz Facelift is going to be the most fuel economical hatchback around. It will surpass the achievement of the Toyota Aqua while also being a tremendous upgrade from the existing Jazz.

Speaking of which, the existing model can only return 36.4km/l from it’s i-DCD 7-speed transmission. The Facelift model is expected to run on the same system but refined to make bigger accomplishment.
