The Google Nexus 5 was expected to launch earlier this month and then delayed apparently due to the temporary government shutdown. Now rumors suggest that we could see a close call this month as the Nexus 5 launches on October 31st.
Multiple news blogs are reporting findings of an October release date for the Google Nexus 5, citing everything from reps, suppliers and even their grandmas. Now another tip comes through which suggests a next month release is possible.
Phil Nickinson from AndroidCentral has just posted the image you see below to the AC Forums showing a November 8 release date for the Virgin Mobile Google Nexus 5. There’s no way of knowing just how legitimate this is but if it does in fact launch this month then we should have heard of an event or at the least a press invite or release (we’re just 3 days away!).
So if we had to bet on a date, it would have to be sometime early November.
What do you think? Will the Google Nexus 5 make a photo finish this month or wait until we move closer towards the holidays as per its usual release cycles?
