American cars are nothing like they were back in the 90s. Today, muscle cars get a different treatment and that is efficiency. Gone are the days where the bigger the engine is, the better the car. Looking at the variables her, the Camaro and the Mustang are so alike that it is hard to tell them apart. Of course, it is the Mustang that has the better looks, history and a simple yet comfortable interior. Then again, the curb weight of the Mustang is really heavy, which can really tax drivers in fuel consumption.

Also, the Challenger is able to offer the best performance. It comes with a 707HP engine and a new ZF-sourced automatic transmission. Of course, this will soon be challenged by the upcoming Ford Mustang, which is touted to be the most efficient sports car on the planet.
Then again, fuel consumption is best with the Camaro. The fact that it doesn’t have a super-large engine and is also the lightest of the three makes it the automatic saver.
All in all, we have to side with the Challenger as the victor for today. The car is far ahead of its competitors in terms of performance and comfort.
