Throughout history, Ford has been relying on the Mustang badge as its top performing vehicle. On the other hand, there have been some periods where the Ford GT takes over as the carmaker’s best car around.
Now, the Ford GT will be looking to make its return after rumours went rife suggesting that Ford is financially stable to make it happen. The GT will not be anything like its predecessors, which is viewed as nothing more than a below-par performer that cloaks itself under a beautiful design.
Instead, the GT is said to be equipped with Ford’s latest technologies so that it can rival the likes of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
Of course, details on the technologies and specifications are still scarce for the Ford GT at the moment but everything will be clarified when Ford unveils the car’s concept model at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show happening next month.
