Ford Goes Blackberry, Microsoft Abandoned?

Ford has been working with Microsoft on their in-car infotainment system for some time now it looks like they are ready to move on now as it was reported that Ford will now be working with Blackberry to come out with the new Sync 3 infotainment system.

The new Sync 3 infotainment system will come with the Blackberry QNX. Blackberry will also work on all the future upgrades although the updates will still pass through the Azure Cloud from Microsoft.

Microsoft will also still be the one providing the infotainment system with its WiFi connectivity.

According to the reports, the ew Sync 3 is already at its last stage of development and that we should be seeing it next year.The new, Sync 3 infotainment system will replace the older MyFord infotainment system. We should be able to see the Sync 3 infotainment system in action when the 2016 Lincoln and Ford model starts arriving.
