Ferrari Sticking To The V12 For A Long Time

The latest Ferrari LaFerrari raised fears that the prestigious automaker is going to breed EV sports cars in the future. This is because the LaFerrari sets up the platform that has room for electrical motors.

Even so, Ferrari won’t be going EV anytime soon and fans of the Italian Stallion can bury their fears, temporarily. Ferrari revealed earlier today that they will still be sticking to their V12 but the future cars won’t be paired to turbo components.

Instead, Ferrari teased that they will be equipping electrical motors to boost the torque of the car and lose a little horsepower in the process. A spokesperson for the company was reported saying “There will be no turbos on our V12s. Expect instead to see 48-volt systems on the next generation.”

If so, then we believe that the electrical motors are going to start on a new era for Ferrari. The carmaker will probably keep on boosting the performance of electrical motors until they find the right ingredients to produce a perfect electrical V12 replacement far in the future.
