There have been speculations going on that the Toyota Tacoma will be welcoming its baby brother in the US market. The Japanese carmaker is planning to replace the Toyota Tacoma with the 2016 Toyota HiLux which is a smaller pickup than its older brother.
The Toyota HiLux didn’t successfully make it to the North American market previously because of the Toyota Tacoma. Toyota has been releasing the Toyota Tacoma on the South and North American markets including other continents, resulting in Toyota HiLux being unable to compete in the market.
When the Toyota HiLux is made avalaible to the market soon, the Japanese carmaker will make the 2016 Toyota HiLux to be a global model as the pickup will make it to the Asia and Oceania regions.
The 2016 Cars Reviews reports that Toyota will be stopping the Toyota Tacoma production and it will be replaced by the Toyota HiLux which will be more powerful and more fuel-efficient than the Toyota Tacoma.
