All-New Tesla Model S P85D Is Faster Than A Ferrari

Every car enthusiast should know that a super EV car can be a lot faster than the prestigious supercars in the market. This is basically because EV vehicles have unlimited torque and they are not restricted to the RPM.

Now this brings us to the bigger question, how powerful is the new Tesla Model S P85D. Judging by its design, it does suggest that the P85D is a serious performer. Retailing at $121,000, the Tesla Model S P85D is really costly and something this expensive shouldn’t be taken lightly.

After some careful research, we learned that the P85D has an extra electric motor fitted at the front of the vehicle. Thus, this turns the Model S into an AWD car with all-weather traction.

In addition to that, the P85D’s infotainment system now has an ‘insane mode’. When selected, the new Model S is able to sprint from 0-60 at a flat time of 3 seconds. This is comparable, if not, better than the Ferrari 458.

Of course, being powerful will obviously conflict with the Model S purpose of being a fuel economical vehicle. Then again, considering the fact that the P85D still boasts about 250mile of driving range, the vehicle is still impressive.
