Ford has already confirmed that they will be refreshing the GT with a brand new model and it is due to arrive at the end of this year. The super car was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show last month and it was also the centre of attraction at the event.
This cannot be helped as the Ford GT is truly a promising car that is in production. The vehicle is tipped to be coming with a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine that generates 600hp on the rear wheels. The engine is also mated to a powerful 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The power of the Ford GT is imply unimaginable. Together with an ultralight body, there is simply no telling on how fast the V6 engine can go. That will have to wait until the GT gets released.
When the Ford GT arrives, it will be retailing at under the $200,000 mark. Even so, the vehicle will look to compete with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Porsche 911 GT33 RS and the Lamborghini Huracan when released.
