It has been teased further that the future Z-vehicle from Nissan is going to be smaller than before. The word is that the upcoming replacement for the 370Z is going to bear a smaller engine size.
According to Nissan’s Chief Creative Officer, Shiro Nakamura, the lad hints on it being the revival of the 240Z. Shiro shared that the company is checking out possible concepts for the next Z vehicle and many are loving the idea where the 240Z gets revived.
Of course, Nissan has yet to make the final call on the matter but everyone is already liking the idea of seeing a Japanese retro muscle car getting recreated. The only problem here is that producing the all-new 24-Z will not click well with Nissan’s new direction.
Nissan has unveiled many futuristic ideas and producing something from the past will only contradict to the direction they are taking. Obviously, the 240Z don’t fit in Nissan’s development and plan. Regardless, if the carmaker really wish to produce the 240Z, then they will do it.
