There are speculations coming in our way that the latest Jeep Renegade is going to be equipped with the Hellcat engine. If the news is true, then we will see a more powerful Jeep Renegade in the market.
The Jeep Renegade will be the model’s high performance variant, and it takes a Hellcat engine to produce 707 horsepower. The 6.2-liter engine four-wheel drive will deliver 650 lb-ft. of torque for in 0-60 sprint for less than four seconds.
Having a 707 horsepower is great, but Jeep has to make sure that this works because if it is not, then fans are not going to be happy about this. Perhaps Jeep could limit the torque in the lower gears to prevent drivelines stress.
With that being said, do you think that giving the Hellcat Treatment to the Jeep Renegade is the best decision Jeep has ever made?
