2017 GMC Canyon Gets Chrome Lipstick, Colorado Next?

The 2017 GMC Canyon finally gets to be Denali-ized (or we’d like to call it Denalized). Although it takes very little effort to create a Denali variant, it’s a wise decision GMC makes in order to have a Denali version of every product in their range.

What’s new for this pick-up, apart from the ‘chrome lipstick’ (unique chrome trim, in this case), is also that of the new grille. On the inside, the Canyon gets more Denalized from all the badging, also not forgetting, there’re black leathered seats that are heated and cooled. Pretty cool stuff.

The official press release confirms that the Denali would be offered in six colours, has a heated steering wheel, OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with a Wi-Fi hotspot and also heated-and-ventilated front seats. And that’s not all.

In addition, the Canyon is also available in 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel, making it the cleanest diesel truck engine ever produced by GMC. If you’re wondering whether Colorado might follow Canyon’s footsteps, chances are slim. Let us know in the comments below.
