2017 Ford Escape: Coming After Honda HR-V With A Vengeance

The Ford Escape is currently trailing behind the Honda CR-V right now but with the refreshed model on its way, we might see the Ford Escape catching up to the Honda HR-V pretty soon.

To make sure the Ford Escape is well received, Ford listened to what the customers had to say about the Ford Escape and worked from there. The vehicle now comes with more interior space along with a much better exterior design.

It might look bigger now but according to Ford, it is the same size. The windshield, rear glass, doors and roof will also be carried over from the previous model, but the rest is new. Ford also added that they are working to improve the insulation of the vehicle so that it will now have a quieter engine.

Exterior features like the active grille shutters, wheels, LED taillamp will all be upgraded on the 2017 model. On the inside, the steering has also been upgraded. The parking brake lever has been replacing with an electronic parking brake. The old MyFord will also be replaced with the new Sync 3.

With all the upgrades, the Honda HR-V might have to watch out.
