It is no secret that Volkswagen is currently developing the Golf R Facelift. This upcoming sports hatch is going to be different from the existing Golf R and this is because VW has decided to give the vehicle a unique design.
VW has already shared that the Golf R Facelift will be based on the concept from the last Beijing Auto Show and its design will be heavily inspired by the 1989 Golf Rally champion. Hence, Golf fans can expect the Golf R Facelift to come out with a yellow exterior and silver interior.
Under the hood, however, things are going to be up-to-date. The Golf R Facelift is going to run on the same set of engines that are offered with the existing model. Of course, the motors will be further refined to offer an exhilarating performance and splendid handling.
