We saw how the new 2016 Toyota Prius will look like and while the consumers were not too happy about the new design, there is no denying that it is one of the top green cars in the market and now they have the numbers to proof it.
Toyota did mention previously that the new Toyota Prius will be offering a better fuel emission rate this time. Now they have to announce that the 2016 Toyota Prius will be able to return about 52mpg on average with an emission rate of 70g/km with its 1.8 liter VVT-I Atkinson cycle unit that will be paired with an electronic motor to deliver about 120hp.
According to Toyota, the Toyota Prius is not only greener now but it is a lot better to drive since it no comes with the New Global Architecture that will help improve the stiffness of the bodyshell.
Too bad they can’t convince us that it actually looks good.
