For those who have no clue on what the Fortuner is, it can be described as Toyota’s most powerful SUV and soon, the carmaker will be looking to launch a new generation of the Fortuner.
Today, car junkies can catch a glimpse of the next-gen Fortuner after spy shots of the vehicle roaming on the streets of Thailand got leaked online.
Through the spy shots, we can see that the Fortuner is somehow sized like the Toyota Hilux. Well, this is not surprising since the next-gen Fortuner is built on the same platform that is being used on the upcoming Hilux.
From the side of the car, we notice that the Fortuner is broader and bulkier than the existing model. This is akin to the next-gen Hilux and those that have viewed the spy shots of the future pickup truck will definitely agree with us on this.
Then again, we can’t be sure if the Fortuner is going to share the same styling as the next-gen Hilux since the vehicle in the spy shots is heavily wrapped under thick camouflage.
The next-gen Fortuner is going to make its debut early next year and we can expect more details to come from Toyota on the vehicle in the near future.
