The fourth generation of the Lexus RX comes with two variants, the RX 450h hybrid and the RX 200t, which replaces the old RX 270. The latter is available with 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that was first seen in the Lexus NX last year, and is now available in the RC coupe, IS sedan and facelifted GS sedan.
Now, Lexus is going to give discounts to the new Lexus RX in Japan. Both the 200t and 450h are made available in AWD and FWD, and an F Sport package with Adaptive Variable Suspension and more aggressive designing.
Takayuki Katsuda, Lexus chief engineer said that his team focuses to provide more power and fuel efficiency, and also provide better ride and handling. They are now aiming to come with a breakthrough RX that fits the RX lineage.
On the other hand, the best-selling Lexus model is coming to Malaysia soon. The new Lexus RX will be launched here in the final quarter of the year.
