Volvo V90 To Be Unveiled Soon

Volvo is going to launch the new Volvo V90 sedan next year, and the image of the new model has already leaked out in die-cast model form, thanks to Car News China.

If the 1:43-scale Volvo V90 is truly revealing the wagon’s final design, then it is a really large and long car. The car will be complete with Thor’s Hammer headlights. The taillight design is a huge, flowing pair of lamps that goes from the middle of the hatch up to the roof.

Furthermore, the Volvo V90 will be built on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture platform like the Volvo XC90 crossover. Thus, the new model will probably use the Volvo XC90’s powertrains and two-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and T8 twin-engine setup with 2.0-turbocharged/supercharged engine and an electric motor.

Car News China also reveals that this scale model is believed to be manufactured in China for French company Norev. The Volvo V90 is expected to be available in late next year.
