The Lexus RX is about to get refreshed with a facelift model and it is due to arrive early next year. While that may still be a long wait away, Lexus already shared many core information on the RX Facelift.
Of course, the most important bit of them all is with how the future RX350 and 450 will be built with aluminium. Lexus has already confirmed that the RX Facelift is going to feature aluminium for its hood, tailgate and closures, and the move is aimed at dragging the weight of the vehicle down.
Hence, the future Lexus RX Facelift will be coming with more power output and also a better fuel economy rating.
One might worry that the aluminium framework will make the RX SUV less durable then before but it won’t. Lexus concluded in their latest reveal that the aluminium used is engineered to be as strong as conventional metal so there is no need to worry about it at all.
