The upcoming Kia Sorento has just bagged full 5-sars safety ratings by IIHS and this is an outstanding accomplishment after considering the fact that the 2014 model failed to achieve something similar.
The Sorento is simply so great that IIHS has named it as the Top Safety Pick and this is owed to the improved small overlap crash test.
In detail, the upcoming Sorento saw the dummy properly restrained and proper airbag deployment. Furthermore, there were only 4-inches of intrusion at the foot well.
This is a much better record than the existing Sorento which only managed a foot of intrusion in the foot well. To make matters worse, the dummy tested for the current Sorento missed the airbag entirely.
