Come 2016, Honda will be updating the Honda Pilot with a brand new model and today, the world can already get a glimpse on the upcoming SUV.
When analysing the spy shots, we noticed that the Pilot is a super huge vehicle. This can only mean well for third-row passengers as they will not have to dispute about the seating space.
In addition to that, the Pilot is built on a platform that was used by the Acura MDX. This is confirmed when we noticed that the Pilot has more overhand and a longer roofline. Then again, no changes were made to the vehicle’s tail section.
The front section, however, did get some new element like the headlights, which are now more angular than before. Then again, it is the same set of headlights that is featuring on the latest Honda Accord.
While nothing has been revealed on the engines, car junkies can look forward to a 3.5L V-6 engine powering the next-gen Pilot. The motor will be paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission that will pair well with the FWD and AWD system.
