Despite being in the same compact SUV segment, both the latest Honda HR-V and Jeep Renegade are completely different from each other. They both have different roles to play or in other words, built for different purposes.
The HR-V, in particular, is made to be a low-cost, affordable compact SUV that is ideal for city usage. This is evident as the HR-V is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine which is paired to a CVT gearbox. Together with a small retail price tag, the Honda HR-V is truly a wallet-friendly, fuel efficient compact SUV.
Meanwhile, the Jeep Renegade is made to be the king of off-roading in the compact SUV segment. The car runs on the 1.4L turbocharged motor that is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission and it also comes with a 4WD lever. When engaged, the Renegade will be more than capable of handling the unforgivin off-road terrain.
With that being said, it confirms that both the HR-V and Jeep Renegade are fitted with totally different shoes. So which do you prefer? The off-roader or the environment lover?
