Ford was one of the first automakers to start blurring the lines between automobiles and tech when they decided to unveil one of their models at the CES years ago and now they are planning to continue that legacy with the 2016 Ford GT model.
The Ford GT model will be coming in with a new 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. The official numbers are not out yet, but it is believed that the Ford GT could easily offer more than 600hp with the new engine.
Ford will be attending the CES with their Ford GT model in tow to discuss some of their plans for the future as well as elaborate on the Ford Smart Mobility plan. Some people are suggesting that we might also hear about Ford’s plans on autonomous driving which seem to be what most automaker are working on right now.
The CES 2016 will be happening early next year. The Ford press conference will be on the 5th of January at 7.30-8am PST
