Focus fans here in the US are really excited for Q4 this year as it will see Ford distributing the next-gen Focus RS to the dealers. The thing is that the sports hatch is going to become the first ever Focus RS to debut here in the US.
Like how it was with previous Focus RS models, this upcoming car is going to offer an exhilarating performance. The Focus RS is confirmed to be running on the 2.3L EcoBoost engine that is sourced from the Mustang and it can only be operated with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The best part is that the Focus RS is developed in Germany only. Hence, it will be built to meet European safety standards and this means that the US will be getting treated to more safety features being offered with the Focus RS.
