Ford will be looking to launch the next-generation Focus RS next year but rumours are indicating that the car won’t be coming to the US. This does sound outrageous as seeing the American carmaker not launching its jewel product in its home ground is simply impossible.
To be fair, the rumours did made a point when they claim that there are already many performance vehicles from Ford. Among them is the EcoBoost-powered Mustangs and the Lincoln MKC.
Well, car junkies should start treating the rumours like any other rumour and that is with the tiniest grain of salt. We personally don’t think that Ford is skipping the US when launching the Focus RS due to the vehicle’s huge history and popularity on the global scale.
In addition to that, Ford is really aggressive in the automotive market in recent years and they wouldn’t mind making bad business decisions for the sake of passion in the automotive industry. As such, it is a safe bet to see the Focus RS getting a local release.
