Ford promises the new Fiesta RS, that we’re sure to take your breath away. It will be coming with additional features and it’s said to be one of the 12 new performance models under Ford.
What we know about the RS version so far is that it comes with 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine from Fiesta ST, and is able to go from 180 to 250 horsepower. That is actually more than enough for the Ford Fiesta RS to go from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds.
The ultimate highlight of the car is probably the ‘drift’ button, where Ford Fiesta RS will have a similar system to that of the Ford Focus RS. Therefore, making it a more refined four-wheel drive. Also, the car will need help from the standard launch control and talon-like grip from the four-wheel-drive system.
Also worthy to note is that the Ford Fiesta RS would be placed with a good price tag, which should be around $25,000 USD, according to sources. We’ll have to just wait to find out more about it when Ford releases an official announcement.
