The SRT Charger Hellcat and the 2016 Dodge Challenger are both going to be getting turbocharged in the future. Right now they both offer the Hemi V8 6.2 litre engine that gives out 707 horses and 880Nm of torque.
The engine is the naturally aspirated V8 6.4 litre that gives 485 horses and 644Nm of torque. The 2016 Dodge Challenger along with the SRT Charger Hellcat will be getting either the 4 cylinder twin-turbo or the 6 cylinder twin-turbo engines.
Don’t get too excited though about the 2016 Dodge Challenger and SRT Charger Hellcat as they are not coming just yet. It has been said that the vehicles will not get their turbocharged engines until 2019.
The 2016 Dodge Challenger and the SRT Charger Hellcat should be more efficient when they arrive thanks to their new turbocharged engines.
