The SRT Charger Hellcat along with the 2016 Dodge Challenger is going to be given the turbocharged engine. Right now both of the vehicles come with the Hemi V8 6.2 litre engine which offers 707 horses along with 880Nm of torque.
The V8 6.4 litre naturally aspirated engine gives 485 horses and 644Nm of torque. The 2016 Dodge Challenger along with the SRT Charger Hellcat is going have either the 4 cylinder twi-turbo or the 6 cylinder twin-turbo engine.
You should not get too excited yet though as we are going to have to wait for the arrival of the 2016 Dodge Challenger and SRT Charger Hellcat. We don’t expect to see the vehicles getting their turbocharged engine until 2019.
When the 2016 Dodge Challenger and the SRT Charger Hellcat comes our way they should both offer better fuel efficiency and they should offer better efficiency.
