The SRT Charger Hellcat and the 2016 Dodge Challenger may be two of the newest vehicles on the market but neither of them has new engines. This could change with the 2016 Dodge Challenger and SRT Charger Hellcat could have turbo engines.
At the moment the SRT Charger Hellcat and the 2016 Dodge Challenger come with the 6.2 litre HEMI V8 supercharged engine and this gives out 707 horses. The 6.4 litre V8 naturally aspirated engine offers 485 horses.
While these engines may be powerful it is though that the 2016 Dodge Challenger and the SRT Charger Hellcat could have the 4 cylinder twin-turbo or maybe the 6 cylinder twin-turbo engines.
Along with this it is thought that the 2016 Dodge Challenger and the SRT Charger Hellcat could have their new engines by 2019 and of course when they do it will mean that they will offer better fuel economy.
