2016 Chevrolet Volt Electric Hybrid Catches Attention

Chevrolet’s all-new Chevrolet Volt is coming soon in December, and is ready to compete with its rival, Tesla’s Model S in the hybrid car space. The second-generation Chevy Volt gets high praise for the improvements it brings as compared to the previous model, putting itself stands out from the crowd.

The car comes with all-new 1.5-liter direct-injected, high-efficiency engine. The electric car runs on an electric charge and generates additional electric power through a gas-powered generator when the battery runs out. The new model gets power from two electric motors working together to increase efficiency and conserve electricity.

Furthermore, the Chevrolet Volt can recharge in 4.5 hours with a 240-volt charging station and provide up to 53 pure electric miles. When the electricity runs out, the 1.5-liter direct-injected, high-efficiency engine is ready to do its work. The two engines can provide up to 420 mile with a full tank of gas and a full charge. Thy hybrid can go from 9 to 60 in 8.4 seconds.

The price of the all-new Chevrolet Volt starts at $33, 995. Despite being an electric hybrid car, Chevrolet Volt maintains the huge aspect of other Chevrolet sedans.
