2015 Smart ForTwo & ForFour Pricing Revealed!

Smart is about to launch the new ForTwo and ForFour cars. Earlier today, the German carmaker announced on the price tags that are coming with these vehicles.

The entry level ForTwo is revealed to retail at £11,125 whereas the forfour begins at £11,620. Despite the difference in price, both vehicles are powered by the same 1L 3-cylinder engine that generates 71 HP(52 kW) and 91Nm (67 lb-ft) of torque.

The ForTwo, however, has an added advantage as consumers can opt for the vehicle with a 0.9L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine which produces 90hp and 135Nm of torque. Of course, this would mean that the car will cost £11,720. The ForTwo operates on a 5-speed manual transmission but this can be upgraded to a dual-clutch 6-speed automatic for a fee of £995.

The base Passion trim comes with eight-spoke 15-inch alloys, automatic climate control, Bluetooth and an orange/black or white/black interior theme. For an additional fee of £695, consumers can get the Prime trim which comes with five twin-spoke 15-inch black rims, panoramic glass roof, black leather upholstery, lane-keeping assist, heated seats and extra dashboard instrument pods with a cockpit clock and rev counter.

Going up one level will see the Proxy trim of the Smart vehicles. It cost the same as the Prime but instead, offers eight Y-spoke black 16-inch alloy wheels, panoramic glass roof, blue & white interior, lane keeping assist, sports leather multifunction steering wheel, 10mm lowered suspension, chrome exhaust finisher and rubber-studded alloy pedals.

In addition to that, there is the Premium and Premium Plus package that cost £795 and £1,295 respectively. This will come with extras like rear parking assistance, navigation, height-adjustable heated steering wheel, electrically-adjustable mirrors, ambient lighting, LED headlights, rearview camera, coming home function and rain & light sensors.
