2015 Nissan Maxima: It Lacks Flexibility

Nissan has finally launched the all-new Maxima but many people are facing a tough time when buying the vehicle. This is because the Maxima is offered only in 5 trims and they all offer no flexibility at all.

For example, the base Maxima is the S trim and this model retails at about $33,325 inclusive of delivery charges. The special thing about the S trim is that it comes with an 8” display screen with Google online search functions, paired with a 7” instrumental cluster display, remote engine start and dual-zone temperature control. Every other feature on the S trim are offered as a standard, across all trims.

Up one level is the SV trim and this model comes with leather-appointed seating, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors and heated outside rearview mirrors.

Then there is the SL trim which adds a dual-panel moonroof and a suite of Nissan safety products, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, Forward Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Warning.

Moving on, there is the SR trim which has all the sporty bits like a front chassis performance damper, leather-appointed seats and steering wheel, paddle shifters, chrome interior finishes and aluminum sport pedals.

Finally is the Platinum trim that is equipped with a rear window power sunshade, driver’s-side memory seat and mirrors, rain detecting windshield wipers and an auto-dimming driver’s-side outside mirror, among other features.
