Nissan has not been an active competitor this year but this will soon change when the Japanese carmaker launches a host of new vehicles next year. Among them is the next-generation Maxima, which is based on the Sports Sedan Concept that was unveiled earlier this year.
Now, more details have leaked and it further reiterates that the Maxima will be designed akin to the Sports Sedan Concept. If the rumours are spot on, then the world could be witnessing one of the best sports cars in history and it will be known as the Nissan Maxima.
While not much has been officially revealed on the vehicle, many believed that the Nissan Maxima will be powered by a four-wheel drivetrain, 3.5-liter V6 engine that is mated to a CVT gearbox. If so, then Nissan will also be offering a 4-cylinder 2.5L hybrid engine as an added option.
All in all, the Nissan Maxima is definitely a car worth anticipating. It will be looking to make its debut in about a year from now and when it arrives, the Maxima will set the road ablaze with its sublime performance.
