Come next year, Nissan will be refreshing the 370Z roadster with an all-new model. Earlier today, the Japanese carmaker went out to reveal that the upcoming vehicle will be coming with more engine options instead of being limited to a 3.7L V6 engine.
Nissan admitted that the powerful V6 requires a lot of money to run. This is why they are exploring new engine options that can deliver a great performance but be more efficient than before.
With a new smaller and wider engine options that will come with the next-gen Fairlady, Nissan confirms that they will be renaming the car but ensures that the Z will remain intact.
On the downside of things, Nissan failed to give even the slightest of hints on what sort of engine it would be. The carmaker concluded their announcement by saying that the most important thing is what the engine can do, not its displacement.
