2015 Mazda CX-5 Facelift: Looks, Power & Price!

It is no secret that Mazda will be launching a new-looking CX-5 next year and the upcoming SUV is already seen practicing for its debut in Germany. The CX-5 Facelift comes with a totally new front as it gets the design cue from Mazda’s newest Kodo language.

Among the new features on the CX-5’s appearance are the new, straight-barred grille with Mazda shield badge, neater integration for lower air intake at the front, headlamps which are angular and taillights that are finished with jewel-like effect.

Inside the vehicle, the changes are subtle for the CX-5. Aside from the new colour combination for its interior, Mazda will be equipping the upcoming SUV with the MZD Connect infotainment system. The latter is able to pair with a smartphone or tablet.

Under the hood, the CX-5 comes with a choice of 148bhp or 172bhp 2.2 diesels, or the 163bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine. The engine options are not new but they have been refined to improve on fuel consumption further.

All in all, there is massive potential for the CX-5 facelift although it is pretty a subtle one. Consumers can expect the car to retail around £21,895 for the entry level model as it make its debut some time next year.
