The latest Jeep Grand Cherokee is viewed as one of the toughest vehicles in the world right now. However, this does not mean that the large SUV is flawless. Now, the 2015 Grand Cherokee is showing many cracks and this has forced Jeep to comply with a recall order.
NHTSA has probed Jeep to recall a total of 20,000 Grand Cherokee after investigating nine complains from the consumers. Some of the issues Cherokee drivers encountered involves the brakes.
In detail, the brake warnings sometimes work independently and it forces the car to slow down when no threat is presented. The system, which is supposed to prevent accidents now increases the chance for a collision to happen.
Jeep tried to get away by calling for owners to turn off the feature but this has caused more criticism aimed at the carmaker.
