Both the latest Honda HR-V and Jeep Renegade might have a lot of things in common but most of them are with the design features. This cannot be helped as the HR-V and Renegade are both compact SUVs hence the similarities.
However, when it comes to function, the two vehicles are completely different from each other. The Jeep Renegade, in particular, is not meant to be a daily car due to its poor economy. However, the 1.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is still able to perform splendidly well but only when the Renegade is on the unforgiving off-road turf.
As for the Honda HR-V, it is built to be a cheap, decent, reliable and practical compact SUV that is ideal for daily driving. The HR-V is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine and this is mated to a CVT gearbox. The special thing about the HR-V is that it returns unbeatable fuel economy.
