Late last year, Honda launched the all-new HR-V and Jeep released the all-new Renegade. Both compact SUVs became a huge hit in the automotive market as they offer a stunning design language and also a great driving experience.
Then again, both the HR-V and the Renegade have completely different things to offer despite coming out in the same compact SUV segment.
The HR-V, in particular, is built to be an affordable vehicle that is best for everyday use. This is because the HR-V offers a cheap running cost thanks to its petrol savvy rig that consist of a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine and a CVT gearbox. The Honda HR-V is also practical and reliable too.
Then there is the Jeep Renegade. This particular vehicle offers a no nonsense performance as it is powered by 1.4L turbocharged engine that is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Unfortunately, the Renegade is not a fuel savvy compact SUV like the HR-V.
Instead, the Renegade comes with a 4WD lever that when engaged, allows it to race on the muddy tracks and climb steep hills. In short, the Renegade is made to be the most powerful off-road enabled compact SUV in history.
