2015 Ford Fusion Review: Muscles Without Tissues?

No one can deny the fact that the latest Ford Fusion is truly a handsome car to own. This is because the vehicle fuses the styling of the Focus, the grille of an Aston Martin and the structure of a Mustang.

We manage to get behind the wheel of the latest Ford Fusion but were heavily disappointed by the car’s performance. The Fusion we tested runs on a 2.0L 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine that is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

This basically allows the Fusion to generate 231hp while also returning an average fuel consumption rate of 23mpg. On papers, this is not so bad but when driving the car, it is. The Fusion simply feels underpowered and such a performance is a disgrace to the vehicle’s design.

However, we can appreciate the Fusion’s handling and interior space which is really well done. The soft but sturdy suspension allowed us to beat the corners with ease and the looks of the car certainly aroused the ladies.
