Now, it looks like the Colorado has finally meet a challenge and it comes in the name of the Toyota Tacoma Facelift. As great as the latter promises to be, a quick read at its brochure confirms that the Colorado is still the pickup truck to beat.
This is because the Tacoma offers nothing new with its powertrain and the styling has been tweaked too subtly for it to make an impact in the segment.
Speaking of which, the mid-sized pickup truck is not a popular segment so carmakers need to get the ingredients right if they wish to enjoy success. Chevrolet has already achieved total domination with the latest Colorado and it looks unbeatable in every way.
Think about it. There aren’t any other pickup trucks, including the Tacoma Facelift that can match the Colorado’s style, value and also performance. Heck, the Colorado is ultimately fuel efficient as well. This certainly proves that the Colorado is superior to the Tacoma.
