It was about a month ago when BMW launched the all-new M6 Convertible and we finally got behind the wheel of the vehicle. The M6 Convertible simply looks scrumptious as it features a coupe-liked structure and more curves.
Under the hood, the M6 Convertible is powered by the same 4.4L V8 engine that is paired to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. However, the engine has been boosted to offer 592hp and 516ft-lbs of torque. This basically makes the M6 Convertible one of the fastest roadsters around.
Well, we find ourselves very fortunate as we were able to experience the sheer power of the M6 Convertible. We tried sprinting from 0-62mph and managed 4.39 seconds. Even on the bends and turns around the coastal roads, the M6 Convertible handled itself well.
The best part is that the M6 Convertible has a spacious interior. Everything inside the car is roomy which is hard to receive on a cabriolet. Then again, the M6 Convertible is not going to be cheap to own as it has a starting price of £92,350 in the UK.
