Yesterday was the first time we manage to test out a sports car this year and it is the latest Alfa Romeo 4C. Unlike any other vehicles we tested so far, the Alfa Romeo 4C made us felt nervous prior to the testing and this is because of its prestigious status in the automotive world.
The car didn’t look exquisite at all. Things were very simple with the 4C as it is structured like a typical sports car and such. The thing that we like most is the hallmark triangular grille from Alfa which makes up the nose of the 4C.
The 4C runs on a mid-engine setup which is occupied by a 1742CC turbocharged DOHC engine that is paired to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This enables it to generate 237hp and 258ft-lbs of torque.
Without wasting any more time, we went out to learn how powerful the 4C is. We tried sprinting from 0-62mph and achieved a time of 4.31 seconds. Immediately after that, we aimed to hit the top speed and managed 158mph.
For a powerful car like the 4C, it is amazing that the vehicle is not a fuel drainer. In detail, the 4C returned to us and average of 24mpg throughout. So if you are out in the market looking for a sports car with sheer class, power and love for the environment, we highly reccomend getting the 4C.
