2014 BMW X5: Efficiency Is The Cherry on A Sundae

If you are going to give the latest BMW X5 a test drive, then we highly advise you to monitor the fuel consumption rate of the vehicle. We had just tested out the X5 and were amazed by how well the X5 is able to offer great economy.

The model we tested was powered by the 3L xDrive30d engine and it returned an average consumption rate of 45mpg. If this rating is not good enough, then we recommend you to test out the 2L sDrive25d model that is able to return 50mpg.

It gets more exciting when you learn that the fuel efficiency of the 3L xDrive30d does not sacrifice power one bit. The vehicle we drove was able to complete a sprint from 0-62mpg in around 6.9seconds

The handling too is superb which is not surprising since the X5 is a BMW make. The only issue we have with the large car is the lack of sportiness on its design.
