Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update Moves To Final Stage

There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the KitKat update coming to both the Galaxy Note 2 and S3 recently. After some clarification from Samsung, it seems that the latter won’t be updated.

As for the Galaxy Note 2, it is revealed that the Korean-smartphone manufacturer is currently developing the KitKat for this old phablet. However, there is no news on when this update will roll out.

Looking at the leak which reveals the internal document from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 2 is expected to get updated somewhere between April and May. If so, it is safe to assume for the KitKat to arrive after the release of the Galaxy S5 smartphone.

Another leak revealed that Samsung is preparing the update for the Note 2 which bears the model number, SHV-E250. At the moment, the firmware is in its testing phase which means that it won’t be long until it gets rolled out.
