It is no secret that the Galaxy S4 will be part of the few devices from Samsung that will be updated to the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat. Now, word has it that the Galaxy S3 will also join its successor in getting its very own Kitkat.
A leak, in the form of a Roadmap, has surfaced has led the Samsung community to believe that the Galaxy S3 will be officially updated to the Kitkat. It is unknown on when this may happen.
The Samsung handsets that will look to get the Kitkat update includes the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Mega. As for Samsung tablets, the Kitkat will be roll out for the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Note 8.0.
At the moment, it is unsure on how the roll out order will be like. One thing is for sure is that the Galaxy S4 and Note 3 are already getting the Kitkat. It won’t be long until all of the device mentioned above gets their own slice of the cake.
