With February being almost here fans of HTC are getting more and more excited and they hope that the company will stick to the release date of last year’s flagship handset. If they do it would mean that we could see the HTC One sequel arrive in just a few weeks. There has been many rumours and leaks regarding the HTC M8 as we get closer to the anticipated release date.
Not too long ago Mike1986, a developer over at XDA said that the HTC M8 may arrive with software keys. Now this information has been corroborated by @evleaks. They made a claim on Twitter that the M8 would be the first HTC handset to have on screen buttons.
It has been said that the HTC M8 will have a similar design to that of the HTC One last year. We expect that the bezels could be utilized when it comes to the front facing speakers. If HTC don’t have the capacity buttons which are found on the HTC One, and which for some users have been a major issue, the display size could be increased and bezels made smaller. Of course the only hope then would be that the on screen buttons will offer more than just the back and home button.
