AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 KitKat Update Available Now Under The Counter

It has been months since Google rolled out the Android 4.4 KitKat update and Samsung is finally looking to release the firmware for its Galaxy S4 smartphones.

Just after the KitKat update got released for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, XDA developers have been receiving the test firmware believed to be for the S4. Previous test firmwares are revealed to be for the international i9505 models. Today, the test firmwares are for the AT&T’s Galaxy S4 also known as SGH-i337.

This leak gave us plenty of information on what we can expect coming to the Galaxy S4. It appears that most of its features is similar to that of the Note 3. It will offer users the latest TouchWiz, faster UI and of course, better RAM management.

S4 users who wish to get their hands on the KitKat can download it.The file will be 1.5GB in size. However, there appears to be some issues with the KitKat. Some users who tried this test firmware revealed that whenever a specific video format is played, the phone will crash and restart itself.

It is best to wait for the official release as it is not far away now. Users can expect to get the real thing in February or March.
