Before we all saw what Honda has to offer on the Honda Civic, it was predicted that Honda will be coming in with a new design that will be based off the Honda Pilot design but it looks like that wasn’t what Honda had in mind after all.
New spy shots of the Honda CR-V revealed that instead of the Honda Pilot, the Honda CR-V will be coming in with a new design based on the new Honda Civic. Looking at how young and fun the Honda Civic looks right now, we are not surprised that Honda would go down that route.
The spy shot reveals that features like the grille, headlights and taillight will all be carried over. The Honda CR-V will also be riding on the same Civic platform. It is also believed that under the hood is a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine or a 2.0 liter TEC Turbo.
Honda will most likely be showing off their new Honda CR-V at the LA Auto Show later this year.
