The rumours surrounding Nokia to create a new line of smartphones that runs on Android appears to be true. Despite being the founder of Lumia, Nokia has headed to the Android direction now and it will certainly have an effect on the industry.
Following the release in Malaysia, India looks set to launch this very first Android-operated Nokia X. The release on the South-East Asian nation comes with a price tag of RM399, which translates to R7500 in India. IBTimes revealed that India looks set to welcome this latest device from Nokia which will arrive next week.
The Nokia X is equipped with a 4.0 display offering 800x480p IPS LCD screen with 233ppi. Instead of the usual Android built on a commercial level, Nokia X will run on the Android Open Source Project named the Nokia X Software 1.0.
The X will run on a 1GHz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 series CPU with 512MB of RAM. There is a storage capacity of 4GB which is expendable up to 32GB and a 3MP camera that offers 4x zoom. The Nokia X is powered with a 1500mAh capacity battery.
